Webroot Online Spyware Scanner, otherwise called as Spy Audit is a free tool offered by the producers of SpySweeper - one of the top rated spyware program available. Truly speaking, the spy audit online spyware scanner tops my favorites list.

The online scanner prompts you to download a 1.x MB file which you can use to start the scan. The screenshot shown below is taken from the scan run from my laptop. The scan took 5 minutes in my laptop, but many people say that it only takes less than 2 minutes for Spy Audit to scan your PC(may be my internet is slow ;-) )
Step 1: The online tool first downloads the spyware detection files and then starts the detection process. The screenshot is shown below.
Step 2: After the online spyware scaner does its job, the scan results are displayed which looks like the one shown in the right. Luckily, I did not have any spyware on my laptop :-)
The tool does'nt clean the spyware for free. You have to buy SpySweeper to remove spyware from your PC - afterall, this is how they make business.
