Windows Live! Onecare Online Spyware Scan
Microsoft Windows Live OneCare online spyware scanner is another free scanning service to find the existence of Spyware, Viruses, invalid registry entires, temp files, wasted disk space and other unwanted software on your computer.
You can choose either of the two options(Complete Scan or Quick Scan) that OneCare provides. The difference between the two can be seen on the screen shot shown at the left.
OneCare safety scanner is also good in detecting spyware infections and is one of my few recommended online spyware detectors.
If you are using Windows Vista then you must try the oncare beta edition of the spyware scanner. The length of a scan depends on the size and number of your hard disks, and on the type of scan. A quick virus scan will be pretty fast (usually less than a few minutes), while a complete, full-service scan will take about 90 minutes. But the good news is that you can use your computer while the scanner runs, and you can cancel a scan at any point during its progress.
